As Open Access publisher, we don’t sell our publications for subscription or price to earn profits. The scholarly articles, manuscripts, and other materials published on our online portal have worldwide access free of charge. Article Processing Charge (APC) is one-time charge to be paid by the author once the article, manuscript, or material to be published is accepted for publication. This is a commercial fee charged to cover the costs of editing, converting submitted article, manuscript, or material into real publishable content, and administrative costs as a standard method for financing Open Access publishing employed by other Open Access publishers.
The scholarly content submitted with Egeria Publishing is processed in meticulous way by the expert teams and is transmitted through specialized departments for processing till it turns out to be a polished publication.
- Editing – Egeria Publishing has responsible Editorial Board for comprehensive peer review process and to oversee the precise editing.
The editing is performed by Editorial Screening team of Egeria Publishing which carries on with all initial preliminary checks for common errors, followed by ethical and technical checks.
Editorial Screening team coordinates the review process with the journal’s academic Editorial Board to finalize the editing.
Editorial Quality Assurance team performs the ultimate check to confirm that there is strict adherence to guidelines and policies of the journal in review process of the content for publishing. - Indexing – The Indexing teams of Egeria Publishing mediate with key index services to check abstracting and indexing databases.
- Proofing – Egeria publishing has Online Proofing System (OPS) and the Proofing team coordinates with corresponding author for complete proofing including galley proof prior to publishing.
- Production – The content for publishing is thoroughly converted by Egeria Publishing’s professional Production team into typical typeset content and a well-structured XML.
- Support – Egeria Publication’s support team is always ready to answer queries raised throughout the publishing process.

We, therefore, apportion the substantial portion of Article Processing Charges from you to meet our costs on technical, administrative, quality control, publication, and marketing functions.
- Egeria Publishing’s Article Processing Charge Policy is fixed regardless of article page length, manuscript, or other content within the permissible limit for number of words.
- Article Processing Charge varies with the journal in which you intend to publish your article because some journals are expensive due to intrinsic elements or high quantum of submissions and need more administrative work to manage the content. The discounts are offered by the publisher in specified cases or situations to certain extent, wherever possible, but not as a matter of author’s or funding institution’s right. The discount, if allowed, is for one-time without re-discount on same content.
- Author’s ability to pay is not a criterion for Article Processing Charge.
- Open Access memberships will be eligible for discount of up to 10% on every article published with Egeria Publishing.
- Article Processing Charge will be invoiced after acceptance of article, manuscript, or content for publication in the intended journal. The invoice will be raised in the name of the corresponding author or funding institution, as the case may be.
- The powers of Article Processing Charge modification, discounting, and waiver are vested in the management of Egeria Publishing, which has sole right to affect the changes in the charge structure.
Exemption on Invited Reviews

Policy Statement
Egeria publishing has APC Waiver Policy in respect of authors from the countries classified as Low-income economies (Group 1 countries) or Lower-middle-income economies (Group 2 countries) as of July 2017, based on 2016 Gross National Income (GNI) of less than 200 billion US dollars by the World Bank. The content received for publication from authors of Group-1 countries may be eligible to receive up to 100% waiver. Author from Group-2 countries may be eligible for up to 50% APC waiver.
Please apply for waiver, by sending an email to Egeria Publishing, before submitting your manuscript to receive the waiver. Include the following information in the email
- Your name as well as the names of all authors on the manuscript
- Affiliations of all authors and their country of residence
- Title of your manuscript and the journal you wish to publish your research in
- Reason for applying for a waiver
Authors who are employed by or received support from a for-profit commercial organization will not be eligible to receive this discounted price.
